What we do with your answers
We read them before the call. That is the whole purpose. It means the thirty minutes goes on your situation rather than on us asking what SAM.gov is and whether you are in it.
We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not sell the data, and we do not pass it on. If you never book the call, nothing happens next.
If the answer is that you are not ready
That is useful information, not a rejection, and it is worth knowing before you spend three months chasing bids you cannot legally be awarded.
There is a free route and you should know about it. APEX Accelerators are federally funded, exist in every state, and will help you register in SAM, review a capability statement and work through certification questions at no charge. SBA district offices and SCORE do similar. If you have the time and patience to work at their pace, it is genuinely good help and it costs nothing.
If you would rather it was done for you in four weeks, that is what the Bid-Ready Sprint is. Either way, take the free call first.
A note on past performance
If your gap is past performance, be aware that no four-week programme manufactures it. Anyone telling you otherwise is selling something.
What can be done is real, though. Since 2022, SBA rules let you use performance earned as a first-tier subcontractor or joint venture member when bidding as a prime, and the prime has to give you that rating if you ask. Below $250,000 the requirements are often reduced or waived. And commercial work you have already delivered usually belongs in the record, framed against what the evaluator is scoring. That is the honest path, and it starts with subcontracts and small buys rather than a large prime pursuit.
